The air bubble world is a great concept. It's right up there with ring worlds and Dyson spheres.

I'm not sure why it was so important to block radar in the bubble. Why is radar necessary for machine intelligences to enter the bubble?

I actually read the next in this series before I read this one, so I already knew sort of how it would end. I still enjoyed it though.

It must be really difficult to use a computer that does anything you think about. You'd end up feeling tremendous amounts of stress due to the constant need to pay attention. Daydream a little bit and you might end up destroying something.
